Appearance on Libertas Media, March 20, 2015

It was a pleasure again being a guest on Brian Wilson’s Libertas Media Project podcast. Brian is a veteran radio talk show host. He regularly interviews Judge Andrew Napolitano; his other guests include luminaries such as Walter Williams and James Bovard.

I was delayed in linking the podcast, but the topics we discussed are timeless. These include anarchism; the benefit of technology in sharing the ideas of liberty; the origin and criminal nature of the state; the fallacy of limited government; the myth that the military keeps Americans safe; the challenge of achieving liberty; and why frogs are smarter than people.

The articles we discussed included my “Come Over to the Bright Side” and Tom G. Palmer’s “The Origins of State and Government.” We also noted George H. Smith’s “Some Classical Liberal Historians on the Influence and Dissemination of Ideas.” The latter work is part of a Liberty Matters online discussion of the subject, “On the Spread of (Classical) Liberal Ideas.” Finally, see “The Legend of the Boiling Frog Is Just a Legend.”

Brian now podcasts on a new platform, ConnectPal. For interesting and informative conversation, consider joining me as a subscriber.
