Leadership Week in Review: Dec. 28, 2025-Jan. 3, 2026

by David E. Shellenberger on January 5, 2026

Each week, I compile the resources related to leadership, personal growth, and professional development I shared on social media the prior week, with the accompanying quotations.
……..

Bruce Rosenstein:

Supercharge Your 2026 Self-Development” (12-11-25).

“Whether or not you have yet considered specific goals for 2026, two books provide inspiration, templates, and guidance for reading, leading, managing, personal productivity, and creativity: The Daily Drucker: 366 Days of Insight and Motivation for Getting the Right Things Done; and A Year with Peter Drucker: 52 Weeks of Coaching for Leadership Effectiveness.
……..

Center for Leadership Studies:

Leadership Trends That Will Dominate in 2026” (12-18-25).

“Human-centered leadership recognizes workers as whole people with lives, challenges and aspirations beyond their professional roles. …. Leaders who adopt this mindset view their team members’ development and satisfaction as integral to the organization’s success, rather than separate considerations.”
……..

Randy Conley:

Have You Stopped Noticing?” (2025).

“Noticing those around you and communicating your appreciation for them leads to deeper, stronger, and more fulfilling relationships.”
……..

Travis Bradberry:

How to Exceed Your Goals In 2026” (1-1-26).

“The good news is that you can address both problems and make the changes you desire by resolving this year to develop a single skill—emotional intelligence (EQ).”
……..

I had the pleasure of speaking with Dan Grossman on several occasions through Atlas Network, “a nonpartisan, nonprofit foundation that supports the development and success of pro-freedom organizations throughout the world.”

Dan’s death is a sad loss, and a loss for the world. A life well-lived, a great legacy.

Atlas Network Remembers Dan Grossman, Longtime Visionary Board Member and Chairman” (1-1-26).

“Throughout his life, Dan dedicated himself to advancing human freedom through wise governance, mentorship, and service. His counsel strengthened institutions, his generosity empowered leaders, and his example set a standard for stewardship and integrity within the freedom movement.”
